Where to eat & drink

Digbeth

Digbeth has become Birmingham's food and drink epicentre in recent years. With the rise of the ever-popular street food vendors, to a host of bars offering everything from mini-golf and baseball batting cages to old-school arcade games, it's easily one of the best places to sample food and drink, day or night.

Bacchus Bar

Hidden away under New Street, this medieval-themed pub is a fantastic find. With plenty of nooks and crannies to tuck yourself away to, a fantastic selection of drinks and truly hearty pub food, it's one of the city's best-kept secrets.

Where to go for sport & activities

St Andrew's Stadium

Home of the Blues, Birmingham City Football Club, St Andrew's is just past Digbeth and a great venue to enjoy the stadium experience in the heart of the city. Not a Blues fan? Villa Park and The Hawthorns are just a short bus ride away!

 

Edgbaston Stadium

It may be just outside the city centre, but Edgbaston is just too notable not to mention. One of the hallowed grounds of English cricket, Edgbaston is the place to be for top Test matches and Twenty20 action.
