Add a child for just £1!
If you have a travelcard or buy a West Midlands Day Saver (after 9.30am) on the bus, up to three children can travel with you for just £1 each! This offer is valid any time at weekends and after 9.30am Monday to Friday.
How do I buy it?
On the bus! Simply show your pass and ask the driver for a children’s add-on ticket then pay with cash, or using a contactless payment. If there is a large group travelling then you may be able to save even more with our Group Day Saver ticket.
Don’t forget that children under the age of 16 (and 16-18 year olds with a photocard) can also pay a discounted fare on all buses, trams and trains in the West Midlands!
Terms and conditions
- The child add-on is not available when buying a Sandwell & Dudley or Walsall zone ticket.
- This offer is valid with all adult subscription tickets, mTicket passes, Swift card season tickets, Older Person's Travel Passes, disability passes and West Midlands Day Savers (excluding Tap & cap payments).
- Valid for children aged 5-15 years or aged 16-18 with a valid photocard. Children 4 years and under travel for free.
- A child Day Saver will be issued.
- The children must be present when purchasing the tickets after 9:30am Monday to Friday and all day weekends & bank holidays.
- Offer may be withdrawn at any time without notice.
