Bristol Road, Selly Oak closure

On Monday 27th April 2026, from 8pm to 5am, Bristol Road will be closed between Harborne Lane and Weoley Park Road for highway resurfacing works. During this time, services 61, 63 & X21 will be diverted.

Services 61 & 63

Heading towards Birmingham

Buses will divert from Bristol Road, left Weoley Park Road, third exit Gibbins Road, left Harborne Lane, u-turn at retail park island, return Chapel Lane, and left Bristol Road to rejoin the normal line of route.

Heading from Birmingham

Buses will divert from Bristol Road, left Oak Tree Lane, continue Linden Road, right Woodbrooke Road, right Bourville Lane, and left Bristol Road to rejoin the normal line of route.

Service X21

Heading towards Bartley Green

Buses will divert from Harborne Lane, right Gibbins Road, and right Weoley Avenue to rejoin the normal line of route.

Heading towards Birmingham

Buses will follow the reverse of the above route.
